Tuna Melt Sandwich
Ingredients

- • 60 ml mayonnaise
- • 1 item celery stalk
- • 30 g red onion
- • 15 ml lemon juice
- • 5 ml dijon mustard
- • 4 slices sourdough bread
- • 120 g cheddar cheese
- • 30 g butter
- • 1 sprinkle salt to taste
- • 1 sprinkle black pepper to taste
Instructions

Drain the tuna well and flake it into a medium bowl using a fork.

Finely dice the celery and red onion. Add them to the tuna along with mayonnaise, lemon juice, and dijon mustard.

Mix the tuna salad thoroughly and season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Slice the cheddar cheese thinly, about 1/4 inch thick.

Butter one side of each bread slice. Place two slices butter-side down in a cold skillet.

Divide the tuna mixture evenly between the two bread slices in the pan. Top each with cheese slices.

Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up.

Heat the skillet over medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Carefully flip each sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
