Ingredients

  • 680 g chicken breasts
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 30 g butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 60 g sun-dried tomatoes
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 120 ml chicken broth
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 5 ml Italian seasoning
  • 1 ml red pepper flakes
  • 15 g fresh basil
  • 1 sprinkle salt to taste
  • 1 sprinkle black pepper to taste

Instructions

    Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat

    Sear chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C)

    Remove chicken from skillet and set aside on a plate

    In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter

    Once butter melts, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant

    Add sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes, stirring for 1 minute

    Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits

    Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer
