Loaded Nachos
Ingredients
- • 200 g tortilla chips
- • 450 g ground beef
- • 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
- • 100 g shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- • 240 g black beans, drained and rinsed
- • 150 g diced tomatoes
- • 60 g jalapeño peppers, sliced
- • 120 ml sour cream
- • 120 g guacamole
- • 30 g green onions, chopped
- • 5 ml ground cumin
- • 5 ml chili powder
- • 2.5 ml garlic powder
- • 15 ml olive oil
- • 1 sprinkle salt to taste
- • 1 sprinkle black pepper to taste
- • 15 g fresh cilantro, chopped

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes

Add cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder to the beef. Season with salt and pepper. Stir well and cook for another minute. Remove from heat

On a large oven-safe platter or baking sheet lined with parchment paper, arrange half of the tortilla chips in an even layer

Sprinkle half of the seasoned ground beef over the chips, followed by half of the black beans

Add half of both cheeses evenly over the first layer

Repeat with remaining chips, beef, beans, and cheese to create a second layer

Place in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly

Remove from oven and immediately top with diced tomatoes, jalapeño slices, and green onions

Add dollops of sour cream and guacamole across the nachos

Sprinkle fresh cilantro over the top and serve immediately while hot...
